Global Knowledge Week - October 14 - 18, 2024
 
As part of the Global Knowledge Week SKMF is conducting a series of roundtables in Zurich, Lausanne, Geneva and Bern. Various topics will be discussed in our community. For details see the program under the individual cities.

GfWM KnowledgeCamp 2024
 
The 20th KnowledgeCamp of the Gesellschaft für Wissensmanagement e. V. (GfWM) will take place on October 10 / 11, 2024 on site in Berlin and online. Under the motto "Knowledge Management works. – Wissensmanagement funktioniert." the focus will be on two questions:
  • What works well in knowledge management in organizations? Present your best practices, successful strategies and innovative approaches in the respective organizational context.
  • What has been successfully established over the years? We look forward to case studies and best practices from business, public administration, foundations and associations.
Share your experiences and insights on successful knowledge management! Let's find out together how knowledge management works successfully in practice.
 
WHEN: Thurstay, 10 October 2024, 1pm–6 pm and Friday, 11 October 2024, 9am–4pm

The KnowledgeCamp is a barcamp and  will take place in the tried-and-tested hybrid format, i.e. in person on site and with the option of virtual participation. A curated track will also be offered parallel to the barcamp. The contributions presented will be selected in advance by the GfWM programme team along the #gkc24 theme.
 
Members of the SKMF Swiss Knowledge Management Forum can participate on site in Berlin at a reduced price of EUR 79.00 (regular price EUR 119.00). Online participation costs 29.00 EUR.

SKMF has joined the global network of knowledge management organizations KMGN. Among other activities we will focus in 2023 on Business aligned or evidence based KM - how to convince executives about KM. This topic started with the KMGN Clinique in October 2022. KMGN is also offering advanced methodologies courses, currently focusing on «Value Creation with tacit knowledge». The next course starts February 14, 2024. Link.


The next SMP project management congress will take place on Thursday April 4, 2024 in Lausanne.
As an SMP partner, we are calling all interested speakers to submit their applications by the end of November. Presentations in English are welcome too.
